Fund your AMP experience with the Canada-Ontario Job Grant!

Ontario-based employer? You may be eligible for government funding to upskill your team with AMP Healthcare Education courses!

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) helps employers invest in staff training by covering a significant portion of the cost. You could receive up to $10,000 per employee—or even $15,000 in some cases—to support professional development with AMP.

Some Things to Consider: Lessons Learned!
We’ve had experience supporting employers with successful applications. Here are a few key takeaways to keep in mind before applying:

🔒 Ownership matters: Any employee who is a part-owner or has a financial stake in the company is not eligible to have their training funded.

📈 Advancement is key: Employers must demonstrate how training will lead to a raise, promotion, or advancement opportunity for each employee as a result of the training.

🕐 Start early: The application and approval process can take several months. Begin well in advance of the intended training date.

💰 Employer pays the balance: The employer must cover the remaining share of the training cost (e.g., 1/6 for small businesses). Asking employees to contribute—even partially—will make the application ineligible.

📄 Documentation is everything: Be prepared to show quotes from other training providers, a detailed course outline, and rationale for why AMP is the best fit.

💡 We’re here to help: We’re happy to provide anything you need—course descriptions, instructor bios, attestation forms, cost breakdowns—to support your application and make the process smoother.
